Rastergraf's GeminiPMC fulfills high performance requirements for dual channel graphics common to embedded computing processing environments, including Solaris, Linux, Windows, and leading real-time operating systems including VxWorks and LynxOS.

Using two 128-bit Borealis graphics accelerators, the GeminiPMC supports independent 2D, 3D, OpenGL, and DirectX compatible displays.  Monitor support includes non-interlaced analog VGA and Sync On Green (SOG) plus optional digital DVI with screen resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 (VGA) or 1600 x 1200 (DVI) with up to 16.7 million colors (24 bpp). A quad-image BIOS enables the GeminiPMC to operate in virtually any x86 or SPARC system using VGA, RGB+Sync-On-Green, or DVI displays.

A unique asynchronous PCI bridge design supports all PMC interfaces from 32-bit, 33 MHz to 64-bit, 66 MHz, while enabling the Borealis graphics accelerators to always operate at 32-bit, 66 MHz.

The GeminiPMC has two standard VGA connectors. When the optional DVI is ordered, they are replaced by an MDR-68 connector, which when used with an available breakout cable, supplies dual DVI-I (DVI+VGA) channels.
