Rastergraf's Eclipse3 family of PMC, CompactPCI (CPCI), and PCI boards fulfills high performance requirements for graphics common to embedded computing processing environments, including Solaris, Linux, Windows, and leading real-time operating systems including VxWorks and LynxOS. Using a 128-bit Borealis graphics accelerator, the Eclipse3 supports 2D, 3D, OpenGL, and DirectX compatible displays. Monitor support includes non-interlaced analog VGA and Sync-On-Green (SOG) plus optional digital DVI with screen resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 (VGA) or 1600 x 1200 (DVI) with up to 16.7 million colors (24 bpp). A quad-image BIOS enables the Eclipse3 to operate in virtually any x86 or SPARC system using VGA, RGB+Sync-On-Green, or DVI displays. The Eclipse3PMC is available either with a front-panel VGA or DVI-I (DVI+VGA) connector. It can be ordered with an on-board 3.3V regulator for systems that do not supply 3.3V to the backplane. The Eclipse3PCI is available either with a front-panel VGA or with both VGA and DVI-I (DVI+VGA) connectors. It can be ordered with an on-board 3.3V regulator for systems that do not supply 3.3V to the backplane. The Eclipse3CPCI is available either with a front-panel VGA or with both VGA and DVI-I (DVI+VGA) connectors. The Eclipse3CPCI can be configured for rear-panel I/O, in which case included is a small mating module with DVI and VGA connectors for the CPCI I/O area. Also, the Eclipse3CPCI and the rear I/O module (if used) can be ordered with either 3U or 6U panels.
